C.H.A.N.G.E. does not endorse any particular approach to home education. Although there are a variety of curricula and methods of implementation, maintaining a spirit of unity is the primary goal, while still encouraging one another in each one’s individual approach to home education. We are a TOTALLY VOLUNTEER group and will provide you with an opportunityto meet new people and make new friends.We strongly encourage each person to help in some area. Your God-given ideas, special gifts, and skills are highly encouraged and appreciated.
We are an autonomous group, but are affiliated with Illinois Christian Home Educators (ICHE).
Illinois Christian Home Educators is a not-for-profit Christian organization composed of families dedicated to the success of home education in Illinois. ICHE was started in December of 1983 by four Christian families seeking the support and fellowship of like-minded home educators. They decided to form ICHE for the purpose of encouraging the formation of distinctly Christian support groups, compiling information to help form such groups, and making the information available to support group leaders.
